Aritayht: King and Subjects

Because resources are so rare in the deserts, Aritayhtans often engaged in vicious battles over land and territory. This warfare encouraged a culture centered around tribalism and military discipline, with the title of leader given to the strongest warrior. In recent times, the largest of these various tribes have united the Aritayhtans under a monarchy with a royal family. Still, Aritayhtans are feared by other civilizations for their powerful armies.
