Mass Effect Human Aliensby ~dalubnie

Over the summer, between helping my family take care of our house and surfing the web, I've been collecting research, from books to games, to help give some ideas for "Thirdborn." Some of this "research" involves rewatching playthroughs of the "Mass Effect" trilogy, something I discovered while working on my Thesis project.

"Mass Effect" has been useful in helping me formulate ideas for various civilizations of "Thirdborn," and one day, during a bout of artist's block, I decided to have some fun and do some sketches of the alien members of the party as humans.

over all, it's an interesting and pretty good pic. but, why do some of the characters look gender swapped as well as humanized? Liara, Samara and Nyreen all look more like men. And, while looking cool, Aria's got an androgenous look like she could either or. Nice looks all around though.

You did do a really good job on the characters, one of the few I actually like.

I think you could've done better on Thane and Legion. You messed up on them pretty bad...
Thane is the best assassin in the galaxy who is also the pimpest assassin. You made him look like a sad widower with no life.
Legion looks like some futuristic bodyguard who has an attitude. He is a robot for goodness.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Thane is a sad widower who has no life left because he is dying. That's like, two big character features, while the assassin is his job.

While I do think that Legion probably would look a little more innocent, she took it on a different angle.

You point out the flaws in the art, not the opinion behind it unless it is offensive.

Okay I know he is a widower. He has a life, not a good life... BUT IT'S THERE.
And I think it's obvious he does not look like it. In the Romance section, Thane is happier. I've played the game a couple times.

Well, he also stated that he has been separated from his body for the last 10 years of his life. And no everyone Romanced him, and while he might have been a bit more happier, he was not jumping for joy. He even feel conflicted at the night scene of the romance, in which he punches a table. His character is more bleak.

Yet he does not look like some sad guy waiting to die. MAYBE HE IS, but he does not look like every second of his life is miserable.

True, but the artist is the one who should decide what feel they wanted for the portrait, not you. There are no flaws in the drawing itself, unless you have a problem with the coloration.
