The specifics of Rankin's creation are classified by Susehpen authority, most likely because she's the result of their most advanced research in nanotechnology. Unlike most nanomorphs, Rankin's body is comprised of several different types of nano machines, allowing it to contain specialized organs and even a skeletal system similar to organinc lifeforms, and her early years were devoted to inventing some of the most advanced sensory devices ever created, including her three eyes, which can see every known wavelength of energy. Rankin's role within Susehpen society is that of a high ranking law enforcer, often taking orders directly from Susehpen authorities when something is amiss within Susehpe.
Unlike most Susehpens her age, Rankin has yet to program herself with a personality or a set of emotions. This, coupled with the fact that she is rarely seen outside her meditation chamber when she isn't on a mission, make Rankin an outcast among fellow Susehpens. The only individual Rankin is regularly seen with is the mutli-purpose robot Ceevee, though this may be simply because Rankin can tolerate Ceevee's hyperactive nature. Strangley enough, an enzyme critical to sustaining Rankin's body can only be found in the cacao plant, and this has left her with a borderline obsession with chocolate.
When Rankin is called in for duty, it is usually to hunt down and possibly execute dangerous criminals. This is due to her extensive knowledge of martial arts and her superhuman speed. Additionally, Rankin's nanotechnology gives her the ability to regenerate any part of her body as well as partial shapeshifting, though it is limited to humanoid forms. However, no one, not even her opponents, has ever seen Rankin's fighting abilities, though some have guessed she utilizes the techniques samurai from the Eastern civilizations practice. The time it takes a normal person to blink is usually the time it takes for Rankin to cut an opponent in half and then withdraw her weapon from sight.
